After you determine our boat is the destination for this special night, the real work begins. Prior to making your reservation, check both of your schedules. Make sure that the night you want to propose is clear for both of you. Determine if you want anyone else to join you that night. For instance, a photographer or members of your family. Contact them and clear their schedules as well.
Once you determine the size of your party for the evening, reserve your boat early. If your party is eight or less, we offer a thirty-three-foot yacht with a kitchen on board. Typically, during our sunset cruises, we offer light refreshments. If there is something special you would like for your special night, let us know early on. We will work to accommodate your night and any special dietary concerns that need to be addressed.
A final note before the day of your departure, get the ring and relax. We will take care of everything. If the night is a surprise, you do not want to ruin it by giving it away with nerves.
The night of your trip, you do not have to worry about anything except arriving on time. Our trained Captain will be at the helm all night long. They will make sure the trip is as smooth as the water will allow. Mother nature provides the ideal backdrop for your proposals. All of our boats also have one crew member on board who can help with small details, like candles.
When you decide it is finally time to propose, alert the crew member as discretely as possible. They can turn on a special song or light the candles for you. Once they are done, they can disappear so the moment only includes those you wish to be there.
After your beloved says yes, enjoy the rest of the evening under the stars. Depending on the boat you have reserved, you may also choose to retire to the bedroom for a private moment together. Remember our typical sunset cruise is two hours. However, the ideal cruise lasts as long as four hours, so there is no need to rush anything.
